The club walks all the year round and has a varied programme from flat winter walks of under 15km to full days in the hills covering 25km or more with ascents of over 900m. Therefore a reasonable level of fitness is important. Shorter options are normally offered for those who wish to walk at a more leisurely pace and for new members to gauge their abilities.
Membership is open and guests are welcome to join us on a club outing before coming a member. The continuing success of the club depends on members’ active participation, including encouraging new members to join us.
