Responsibility/ Insurance

Members of the Club and their guests participate in the activities of the Club at their own risk.
The Club recognises that walking and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Each participant is expected to be aware of and to accept these risks, and be responsible for his or her own actions and involvement. No responsibility can be accepted by the Committee or the Club for any mishaps that may occur.

The annual membership fee of the Cults Hillwalking Club includes the cost of insurance covered by the Ramblers’ Association ( RA) civil liability insurance scheme. For this insurance to be valid, guests or prospective new members will be expected to join the Club and pay the membership fee if they wish to continue walking more than twice in a season.
