DESCRIPTION: The talk on Leadership in Challenging Times – Antarctica as a Lens to Change\, will be given by Clare Bond. \nProfessor Clare Bond\, is an Earth Scientist at the University of Aberdeen. In November 2023 she joined 100 women and non-binary participants on an expedition to Antarctica that combined the culmination of a year long leadership program for women and non-binary in STEMM (Science Technology Engineering Maths and Medicine) with the opportunity to witness first hand the effects of climate change – in what is perhaps the last great wilderness\, Antarctica. \nVisitors are welcome to attend. Please remember to bring £3 to cover costs for the evening.\n
